Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum. I'd like to find out about allergens in Arizona
Arizona(air-i'-ZON-u')

The State of Arizona comprises the extreme south-western portion of the United States. It is bounded on the north by Utah, on the east by New Mexico, on the south by Mexico, and on the west by California and Nevada.

. My wife is suffering terribly here in Florida. I have heard that allergic reactions are less severe in AZ because of the arrid climate. Is this true? Thanks ahead to anyone who can respond. :-)

Thanks, We are trying to pinpoint the cause. It looks like it might be mold but not sure. If it is I have read that AZ desert areas have a very low mold count so we might come for a visit. I've been to AZ twice before and loved it. We are considering the Tucson area.
Best regards

I am new to this site...just joined today...and saw this thread...and although it is old...I thought I would put in my 2 bits! YES YES YES...it is true! I am living in Washington state right now, but spend alot of time in Arizona
Arizona(air-i'-ZON-u')

as I own property there too! I can tell you for a fact...that my allergies are almost non-existant in AZ...and they are terrible here in Washington. Also...I have had back surgery and my back aches something awful here....but in Arizona...you guessed it....almost no pain! It is so true....it is the dryness and the heat that do it...and you might have something with the mold theory too! It is great....and a move there would be benificail to your wife's health problems. One thing tho....because of the dryness of the air...you will find your throat will be so dry and scratch and your nose will crust up everyday for several months till your body adjusts. It is a little uncomfortable...but well worth it as it does go away in time. Good luck! Patti Jo
