What kind of plants are those?

My dad and I were mountain-biking along Chevelon Creek this past weekend.. there was very little water, I think it was from the rain, not from Woods Canyon Lake. So unfortunately there were no fish to be found anywhere.

But there were tons of plants that neither my dad nor I could identify. They are very green and have large, soft leaves. They look like banana leaves.

Does anyone know what kind of plants these are?

Maybe if you took a picture of the plants, people might have a better chance of identfying them

Good idea!

There are pictures of the area in the Photo Gallery in the Woods Canyon Lake section. They're they green-yellow plants with big floppy leaves.
