Restaurant Review
Tott's Asian Diner

"Talk Of The Town" is a rather new location, only about several months old. When you initially walk into this restaurant, it looks fairly "fast food"-like, but it's more than that. You approach the counter having access to both a menu in front of you as well as an overhead.

Biking Out Of Town, Rained Out
by Nick Coons

Last week I was all hyped about being able to make my way up to Four Peaks by mountain bike. I was planning to toss the bike in the back of my Jeep, head up to Fountain Hills, and bike the rest of the way to Four Peaks. From there, I'd like stop for a bit and hike around, take pictures, and breathe in some of the fresh air. But one thing stood in my way -- Rain.

Arizona Dry Humor / Jokes
Joke Of The Week

A Scoutmaster was teaching his boy scouts about survival in the desert.

"What are the three most important things you should bring with you in case you get lost in the desert?" he asked. Several hands went up, and many important things were suggested such as food, matches, etc.

Then one little boy in the back eagerly raised his hand. "Yes, Timmy, what are the three most important things you would bring with you?" asked the Scoutmaster.

Timmy replied: "A compass, a canteen of water, and a deck of cards."

"Why's that Timmy?"

"Well," answered Timmy, "the compass is to find the right direction, the water is to prevent dehydration..."

"And what about the deck of cards?" asked the Scoutmaster impatiently.

"Well, Sir, as soon as you start playing Solitaire, someone is bound to come up behind you and say, 'Put that red nine on top of that black ten!'"
