This isn't a mathematical hotel as the name my imply. It's a Chinese food
restaurant, and the atmosphere is great. The first thing that happens
as you enter, at least in the day time, is that your eyes must adjust to
the darkness. You'll have no problem not stubbing your toes as you're
shown to your seat by the friendly staff.
Once seated, you'll
notice that your table is already stocked with complimentary fried wontons
with sweet and sour sauce for dipping, and tea is also served complimentary
within a few minutes. We placed an order for our appetizer, which was
almost a meal in itself. And our server was extremely courteous in making
sure that we were ready for our entree before delivering it instead of
trying cram food on what would have been a crowded table.
Everything
was great about this place, even the food was above par. The meats were
non-rubbery, which is more and more difficult to find. We will definitely
be heading back here for long-relaxing meals.
Abacus in is located
at 4747 E. Elliot Rd. in Tempe.
