I am told this is where the locals go, but I can only imagine that it has
to do with the view only since it couldn't possibly be the price, the food,
or the service. Maybe it's where the tourists go that want people to
think they're locals, because I can't believe that this would be a place
that you'd frequent unless you simply wanted a Pepsi on a balcony.
The
first impression when we walked in was great. There was a sign that says
that they don't allow the use of cell phones in the restaurant. I thought
that was wonderful. The inside was decorated nicely, and I was anticipating
good food and professional service.
I was sorely mistaken.
We encountered a series of blunders, including our server forgetting important
details of our order. This in itself was not that big of a deal. The
real problem began when we brought these to her attention, as in "Can you
please bring a side of barbecue sauce?" She was not thrilled to be asked
these questions a second a third time, nor were we thrilled to ask them
again.
The food was mediocre, and the price was a bit high.
The only thing that was enjoyable was the view, and the fact that we were
lucky enough to see two bald eagles flying around outside; but we can hardly
give them credit for that.
