If you're in the mood for a 50's diner, this is the place to go. Recommended heavily by Kim and Don of Culinary Confessions (on 1310 KXAM in Phoenix), you'll love the variety, as they are more than just hot dogs.

The interior is decorated with all sorts of great memorabilia, and I'm inclined to think that it's authentic since this restaurant was established back in 1946. And it was fitting visiting this restaurant on Valentine's Day.

We went inside and it was very quiet, only a few people there during that time. They call 2:00pm to 5:00pm "Happy Hour" where all hot dogs are half price. Also served are hot and cold sandwiches as well as burgers and all of the usual sides. They also have full service ice-cream.

It's a very loose atmosphere where you can relax and enjoy an inexpensive meal.

Cupid's Hot Dogs is located at 58 W. Buffalo in Chandler.
