Sometimes you're out to eat in between events and need to have your meal in a bit of a rush. Normally, a restaurant wil accommodate this if you let them know. Because you know they're not back there milking the cow to make the cheese from scratch. However, I think ol' Betsy might have been visiting the kitchen.

We were taking a break in between recording shows and let them know that we had about 45 minutes to spare (and this info was given to them an hour in advance). They get off to a lousy start by taking 15 minutes after we were seated to even take our drink order.

The short version is that we were lucky enough to leave an hour and a half later. The food was pretty good, once it finally arrived. The atmosphere was very nice, and the prices weren't bad. But the entire experience was dwarfed by the ridiculously slow service.
