If you've ever listened to Kim & Don of Culinary Confessions on 1310 KXAM, you've heard of Rino D's. Several months back, they had their listeners call in and tell them what their favorite pizza restaurant was, and Rino D's was smart enough to tell all of their customers to call in and vote for them. This great tactic won a first place position for them, and they proudly display the award in their restaurant.

Rino D's is a delivery and carryout pizza place, though it ranks far above the popular chains in taste. Keep an eye out for their regular specials; you can save big bucks this way.

While we waiting for our order to be ready for pickup, one of the staff members talked with us for a bit and kept us company. Their walls have some great information about the origins of the restaurant. The service was excellent, the prices are average if you don't use their specials, and the food was great.

Rino D's is located at 1515 N. Gilbert Rd. in Gilbert.
