We already know that the mood of dinner at a Mexican restaurant is set
by the quality of chips and salsa delivered when you first arrive, right?
At Serrano's, this complimentary appetizer is accompanied by perfectly
textured and slightly spicy bean dip. They're already on my good side.
According
to the "souvenir" placemats, Serrano's has been a family-owned business
here in ArizonaArizona | (air-i'-ZON-u') | The State of Arizona comprises the extreme south-western portion of the United States. It is bounded on the north by Utah, on the east by New Mexico, on the south by Mexico, and on the west by California and Nevada. | for many years. These are usually the best types.
The
meal was served in just the right amount of time, and piping hot. I was
pleased to find the server always around the corner with a drink refill,
and they made sure we always had plenty of chips to go around.
Serrano's
is located at 1955 W. Guadalupe Rd. in Mesa.
