It was recommended that I visited this restaurant on my next trip to Prescott,
which lead me to this historic building on Gurley St. From what I had
heard, this place was pretty busy. The large number of patrons on a Sunday
afternoon seemed to confirm this.
I think the waitress serving
our table was new. I observed her going in and out of the kitchen, and
she seemed confused on occasion. However, she was very accommodating,
and was nice to bring the extra tortillas that we had asked for.
The
food was good, but a little different, and possibly a little more "complicated."
For instance, the macaroni and cheese was topped with parmesan and included
a few other tasty ingredients that I didn't identify for sure; maybe green
onions and bread crumbs.
Fast service, atmospherically pleasing,
and in a great location, the Gurley St. Grill is a great stop for anyone
in Prescott.
The Gurley St. Grill is located at 230 W. Gurley
St. in Prescott.
