A friend of mine has been raving about Vito's for several years now. He stops by every so often and picks up a pizza to share with the family. Never having been there, I had originally pictured Vito's as "some pizza joint." When I finally drove by and noticed a much more exquisite atmosphere, I decided that this was tonight's place for dinner.

Having devoured their excellent pizza in the past, it was time to try a non-pizza dish. While I enjoyed the food, I must say that pizza is their strong point. We served very fast and our drinks were kept full. The hardwood floors add a beautiful touch to the atmosphere, and it will take you many visits to sample every item on the menu.

Vito's Pizza Place is located at 1947 N. Lindsay in Mesa.
