After a day of mountain-biking and hiking along Chevelon Creek, I thought
some good Mexican food might hit the spot. And it did. With the unique
salsa blends and the atmosphere that let me wear my "outdoor" clothes inside,
La Sierra was a great place to cool down.
My dad had been here
before, so he recommended we try it out. The setting was diner-style,
and so was the service. The food came out steaming hot, so much so that
it took about five minutes before I could really dig in. I mean, if you
can't eat the rice and beans with your meal, what's the point? I would
enjoy having another casual meal at La Sierra next time I'm in Payson.
La
Sierra is located at 800 N. Beeline Highway in Payson.
