The Other Place takes the old location of "Monti's At The Ranch" right next to the Dobson Ranch Inn -- And it's decor fits this resort location perfectly. We actually didn't know where to go for dinner, so we drove here to see what now occupies this space. It was a little different, higher-end, than we were looking for, but we saw the pool tables and decided that we needed to stay.

Our attraction for billiards took us into the bar area, which was just as nice as the rest of the interior. The bartender came directly to our table to serve us, and offered us both the dining room menu and the bar's "grill" menu. Most of the service, including food preparation and drink refills, seemed slow; probably because we were in the bar. But we didn't mind since we were already occupied.

This is a great place to take someone for dinner or to meet a client. The atmosphere is very relaxing.
