Haunted Hamburger

by Nick Coons

If you're into slow service, hum-drum atmospheres, and mediocre food, then the Haunted Hamburger in Jerome is not for you, because you won't find any of that here. Though prime scenic views are not hard to come by, you will find some of the best views here. If you have to wait in line for outdoor seating, it is well worth it. The view over Verde Valley is awesome!

We were served immediately with drinks and our orders were taken. The food was brought to us piping hot, and lit candles were delivered to our table as the sun began to set. In this beautiful, small town, very little artificial light is provided outdoors, so the candles become a necessity.

If you're staying in or passing through Jerome, the Haunted Hamburger, which serves a variety of dishes including those completely hamburger-unrelated, is well worth the stop.

The Haunted Hamburger is located at 410 N. Clark St. in Jerome.
