For the first morning of our long-awaited vacation, we found the Marketplace Cafe for breakfast. A wonderful, quiet atmosphere, and friendly staff greeted us at the entrance. Based on what I saw when I arrived, I had some pretty high expectations. Unfortunately, even my moderate expectations were not met.

We received the menus, placed our orders, beverages arrived, and it was all great so far. Then the food was delivered to our table. One of the meals was so awful that it simply could not be eaten. It had to be sent back and replaced with something entirely different, which was also screwed up but at least edible. The other dish was just below par, nothing to really rave about.

This is a great place to visit for the atmosphere or to have a cup of coffee or tea. The service was also extremely friendly. I would simply suggest against ordering an actual meal.
