I must be the only person in the valley to have not been to this restaurant,
until now. I stopped by this past weekend to pickup a pizza and was fairly
surprised at how good it was. I've heard all sorts of good things about
the process they use, such as filtering the water the same way they do
in New York. I haven't verified any of this, but the rumor seems rather
widespread.
We went here thinking that it was simply a take-out
and delivery place. However, upon entering, it was obvious that friendly
staff and adequate seating filled the restaurant. We walked up to the
counter and placed our order, and were promptly given one of those cool
remote wireless buzzer thingamajigs that let's us know when our order is
ready. They apparently take the time to make this right, because even
with the ingredients prepped it took at least 25 minutes for our ordered
to be ready, at which point our previously-mentioned wireless thingamajig
buzzes.
We ended up taking the pizza home, along with an appetizer,
and enjoyed it during a good movie. I'm very pleased with the quality
of the food and the friendliness of all the people that greeted us while
we were there, and I'm looking forward to going back to dine in.
