We walked into Cafe Ted after spending a good portion of the afternoon
at the hair salon. We happened to be in that neck of the woods when my
friend suggested we go to her favorite cafe. We made the drive to Pinnacle
Peak, and parked in the parking lot of the Citadel and made our way to
have lunch.
The decor of Cafe Ted is very unique. The painting
on the walls seemed to be hand done and very time consuming, as well as
the furniture selection, showcasing some of the most unique pieces I've
ever seen. Walking into this cafe, you feel like you're entering another
world.
We received our menus and ice water very quickly. Not
being able to make up our minds, the waitress indulged us with some suggestions,
and was very accommodating to my overwhelming amount of pickiness. The
food was home style, my sandwich being filled with thick cuts of tomato,
turkey and cheese, along with delicious bacon and sourdough bread that
seemed to be cut off of a fresh loaf.
Cafe Ted is a must stop
if you're in the area. Heck, even if you're not, it's worth the trip.
Go between 1-5, during quiet time.
Cafe Ted is located at 8700
E. Pinnacle Peak Rd. in Scottsdale.
