Lake Pleasant - Sips & Sounds

We went to Lake Pleasant this past Friday for their "Sips & Sounds" cruise. It was $35 per person, lasted about two hours, and was a lot of fun. Drinks onboard were good, and snacks were available. They recommend getting there an hour early, which isn't really necessary. But do keep in mind that you need to park, then take a "shuttle" to a dock. When you include waiting for the shuttle, it takes some time. We arrived at the parking lot 28 minutes early, and were one of the last ones to board.

And this would be a good reason to get there early.. all of the tables above deck were taken. We wanted good views so we didn't want to stay inside. So we sat on a storage chest on the edge of the boat. No one kicked us off, so we stayed there the whole time, and actually had the best views.. better than any of the tables.
