Scorpions - Help! - Anyone had problems?

I found a live scorpion in my home tonight. I have lived ina new home in Vail for 2 weeks and do have construction around my home.

Anyone know the best advice for exterminating these creatures? I am worried about my wonderful cat as well.

I also have lots of small spiders I have killed :(. Thanxs, Andrea

Exterminators are generally pretty good about being able to create a "barrier" around your home, though this requires periodic treatments, about every one to two months. This works well for spiders too.
