Lakes near Pinetop

Hello - For the 3rd year, we are taking our 4 grandchildren to Pinetop for a week in July. Last year the highlight was a day spent on Hawley Lake, boating and exploring. This year we want to go boating again, but try a different lake. We like a lake with lots of trees around it, and around size of Hawley, which is 300 acres. Has anyone tried Big Lake? Or can you recommend any other lake within 50 miles of Pinetop? We need to be able to rent a boat. Thanks! Carillon in Phoenix
