The cave was formed approximately 1.25 million years ago when a lava flow cooled and solidified on the surface, creating a crust that eventually broke away, leaving behind a hollow tube. Over time, the roof of the cave collapsed in several areas, creating the entrance points we see today.

As you make your way through the cave, you'll notice the unique formations and structures created by the cooling lava. The walls are smooth and glassy, while the floor is rough and rugged.
