Longhorn

by Nick Coons

In the old west "too tough to die" town of Tombstone lies a restaurant called Longhorn Family Dining. This restaurant is near the center of the action and serves a variety of food like American, Italian, and Mexican, including their too tough to die burger with one full pound of beef. After ordering and completely finishing this burger, I still have yet to find a burger too big for me.

Service was very slow -- It took a while for our orders to be taken, and 45 minutes to get our food. After that, we were starting to wonder if our server had quit her job, because we didn't see her anymore.

The food was good, the menu had a very varied selection, the kids were loud, and the service was some of the worst I've seen. I don't know if I'd go back; perhaps the experience is better on slower days.

Longhorn is located at 501 Allen St. in Tombstone.
