The Airport Restaurant is one of those popular tourist attractions that
everyone knows about and is all the rage. Well, as much rage as breakfast
can be, I guess. It sits next to the airport, has both indoor and outdoor
seating, and you can watch the small planes land and take off during your
meal. What else could you need?
Possible good food, good service,
at a decent price? Did they forget about that? Breakfast is overall pretty
inexpensive at most places, so in comparison this is pretty pricey. For
example, $3 for a glass of orange juice that's pretty small, even though
they call it "large."
During the entire meal, our server barely
checked on us. The hash browns were served cold, and we had to wait for
her to return to ask her to nuke them for us.
In all fairness,
this was our second experience at the Airport Restaurant, and it wasn't
very good either time. This will most likely be our last, unless we have
the urge to watch airplanes fly by while eating mediocre food.
