Driving down Alma School Road several weeks ago, I noticed The Spaghetti Company, because pasta usually catches my attention. We decided to have dinner there Friday evening, and a satisfying meal it was.

We were shown to a table immediately as I was surprised to see that there were few patrons there. Our order was taken, and drinks and appetizers were brought to us promptly. Making an entree decision was difficult because of the varied dishes available.

The main course arrived just as we were finishing our salads. When I dine out, I don't like too much time in between courses, so this was a good thing. Once we finished our meals, to my surprise, I learned that desert was included in what we ordered. All of the food was excellent!

While the service was timely, something didn't seem right. Our waitress only approached our table to take our order, deliver our food, and drop the check by. In spite of that, we had everything we needed. That either meant that she was able to tell what we needed without asking, or she was lucky in timing, I couldn't tell. Also interesting to note is that there appeared to be more employees than customers in the dining area. I felt a little uncomfortable with so many people working around us, cleaning and setting tables, and creating unnecessary ambient noise. I think I would have been happier if there were more people in the restaurant, and perhaps other times of the week are livelier.
