Frank & Charlie's (Chandler)

by Nick Coons
I've heard quite a lot about this restaurant from the radio show "Conversation
With John Dayl" on KXAM. He's convinced that this is one of the greatest
restaurants in the valley. I was there last night for the first time,
and I think I would be inclined to agree with him.
One of the
biggest advantages to Frank & Charlie's over other restaurants that I've
heard is that all of the sides (vegetables, salad, potatoes, etc) are included
with the meal. It's not vegetables or a potato; everything is "and." I
did find this to be the case. And it appears that their "going the extra
mile" doesn't stop there. The restrooms have hand lotion and mouth wash
for your use.
The atmosphere is great once you've been there for
awhile, but I had a little difficulty getting past the fact that Frank
& Charlie's is in a strip mall. It didn't seem to fit.
Service
was fast and friendly, and we had a nice time relaxing for about 45 minutes
after our meal without any pressure to leave. I'll be going back.
Frank
& Charlie's is located at 2050 N. Alma School Rd. in Chandler.
