The Hike to Sunrise

The hike begins at the Sunrise Trailhead, located just outside Springerville. From here, follow the well-marked trail as it winds its way through a forest of towering pine trees and scrubby underbrush. As you ascend, the terrain becomes more rugged, with steep inclines and rocky outcroppings.
